Flux by Sean Ashe Review

Today (January 12th, 2016) Sean Ashe released debut his album Flux, the result of what he calls years of hard work, which definitely shows.
If you're looking for something different, something that can't quite be classified as anything other than Rascal Flatts meets a little bit of Scale The Summit, with a few dashes of electronic/ambient vibes, this is for you. If that sounds off-putting, at the very least, check for yourself. It's enjoyable, we swear. The album is mostly instrumental, and it seems "unfinished" at times, like these were waiting for some kind of finishing touch, but still very well produced. Of course, no album is perfect, so that one thing doesn't ruin it. Each song tells a vague story, that allows a listener to close their eyes and get lost in. Due to the lack of lyrical content, the story is all yours to create, but the album artwork and song titles (Meteor Eyes, Floating Thread, Imagine) suggest a serene, beautiful place to escape to. All in all, the album gets a solid 7/10. Good job, Sean Ashe. As for the rest of you, I highly recommend going to Bandcamp or YouTube and checking this album out.
