Anti-Flag, Such Gold, and The Homeless Gospel Choir at Gramercy Theatre 2/5/15

Last night I saw Anti-Flag for the third time and they played at Gramercy Theatre in New York City. Anti-Flag is highly political and left leaning punk rock band. They're known for lyrics being focus on anit-war activism, anti-imperalism, class stuggle, human rights, and other sociopolitical sentiments. They hail from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Last night they played their 2003 album "The Terror State" in its entirety and other hits they have. Opening up the show they had Homeless Gospel Choir and Such Gold play. Homeless Gospel Choir was a  one man acoustic act that was full of folk-punk material. The acts comes from Pittsburgh. What was great about Homeless Gospel Choir was that before he started every song he would say it was a political song. Such Gold was next and they are a Pop-punk/ Melodic hardcore band from Rochester, New York. Such Gold was great and it was my third time seeing them. What sucked for them was that only about 10 people knew their material including me and people I was with. I have alot of love for them and alot of respect because the different sound they have compare to other bands. Overall both acts were very good. The next thing that happen was Anti-Flag has a Q & A with some Human Rights activists. It's pretty cool and different for a band to do this and showing awarness. After that Anti-Flag took the stage and started off with "Turncoat". Anti Flag played a killer set and  the fans went insane. It was great finally hearing songs like "Post-War Breakout" and "You can kill the protester, but you can't kill the protest"played live. The best part was when they play "The Press Corpse" and I ran right into the pit. At the end of the song "Die for your Government", the drummer Pat Thetic and bassit Chris #2 played in the crowd. They finish the set with "Drink Drank Punk" and overall it was a great concert. The only problem about last night was that there a barricade which kills punk rock shows. Its gives lack of crowd surfing and being one as the performer. The first two times seeing Anti-Flag had no barricades. The first show was 20th anniversary of Anti-Flag at the Studio of Webster Hall with Hostage Calm(RIP), Code Orange Kids (who know go by Code Orange), and The World's Scariest Police Chases. The second show was with Less Than Jake, Masked Instruder, and Get Dead at Highline Ballroom. Still Last night was best show I've ever seen them I hope I can see them every time they come to the New York City/ Long Island area.
For Ratings
