Turnstile "Non Stop Feeling" Record Release show at The Metro Gallery Review

On January 30, 2015 Turnstile played a record release for their new album "Non Stop Feeling" in Baltimore, Maryland at The Metro Gallery. Turnstile performed with Down to Nothing, Incendiary, Blind Justice, and Protester. The venue was between 200-300 cap and it was cool to go to a sellout show in Baltimore. The mix crowd was great because there were people from New York, Boston, DC, Richmond, and of course Baltimore.
The first band was Protester who are a D.C. straight edge band. They bring the old school vibe of hardcore. Not an 80's DC hardcore vibe but more straight to the point. For a D.C. local band they sure kicked some ass. It was cool seeing kids knowing their material and moshing to them. I have nothing bad to say to about this band. Maryland and Virginia are lucky to have a really good band from their area that's just starting out.
The second band was Blind Justice and this was my second time seeing them. The first time I saw them back in March of 2014, they had some vehicle problems and their set was cut at that show but this time I felt they were on point. I never really listen to them but now I'm a fan. People were singing along and stage diving. The best part was when the lead singer yelled "SHORE STYLE" and people were going side to side. I totally recommend getting into this band from the Jersey Shore. One of the best bands from NJHC right now.
Incendiary was up next and they are from Long Island. This was my fifth time seeing them and my first time seeing them outside New York. They bring a lot of aggression to the table and a very unique band. They don't have that "bro" mentality like other bands that exist in the hardcore scene. The lyrics are based upon how society is in ruin and there not a single bad song they make. Baltimore just ate the energy Incendiary was giving off. Every song people were going 110% from moshing, singing along, and stage diving. Incendiary was heaviest band of the night.
Down to Nothing is a Straight Edge band from Richmond, Virginia. They are the more of the legendary band on the list because they been around since the early 2000's. I wasn't really into them but they sure can get the crowd going. People jumping off everywhere on the stage. Down to Nothing felt more like fun band than everybody else. I still recommend seeing this band.
Turnstile should go on to be the most fun band in Hardcore right now and get the crowd amp up. It was great seeing them for the fourth time and seeing them in their home town. Baltimore gave them their best. The pits were intense. People jumping off of anything they can find. The best was when the lead singer was having people come on stage to grab the mic and sing songs. Turnstile is a great band to see and I could see them every time they come to NY. Probably was my favorite time seeing them. Also what's great about them is that they aren't generic. They mix hardcore and funk and have  really intense riffs each song that gets you going. Overall the show was great. Baltimore is lucky for a venue like The Metro Gallery. Its a really cool venue and I totally recommend seeing a show there sometime in the future.
Turnstile 10/10
Down To Nothing 8/10
Incendiary 9.5/10
Blind Justice 9/10
Protester 8.5/10
