Review- Welcome To The West Coast by Lionheart

Northern California based hardcore band Lionheart put out Welcome To The West Coast in 2014, and is a strong followup to their 2012 release Undisputed. This album follows the general format of modern, west coast hardcore, a formula that works for this band.
Production wise, this album is very good, with no audible audio hiccups, as well as everything being very audible and clear, as well as being adrenaline pumping and exciting. The instrumentals are very solid, with the very notable west coast hardcore style that we all know. The leads and riffs are typical but they work very well for what this band is doing, trying to make hard hitting hardcore. The drums are solid and give great rythm to the track and overall great, as is the bass.
Track wise this release has seven tracks, of which my favorite are Rest in Power, Hail Mary and Wasteland. They follow the general theme of west coast hardcore, however as I said, it absolutely works and makes for a great record to listen to. This band's release only makes me more excited for another full length, which leaves me to give this release a solid 7/10.
