Review- Baby Baby- Big Boy Baller Club

Atlanta based self proclaimed fun rock band Baby Baby put out this record, Big Boy Baller Club last year in april. Their classification as a fun rock band couldn't be more true. This whole album sounded like the sountrack to a party in some suburban town you'd see in a movie about growing up.
The instrumentals are fun as hell, with funk and soul vibes as well as punk it's a fun and interesting mix. The drums and snyth make the album even more great to listen to and add to that fun atmosphere this band gives off. The bass tone is nice and holds the whole tune together, making it a groovy record for sure. Their lyrical material is fun, and don't hold to a peticular genre, and are most definately catchy as hell. This album brings to mind The Flaming Lips, Bad Brains and Kings of Leon if they were all mashed into a giant party ball that keeps rolling around the dancefloor, but this album also has some Atlanta hip hop elements, and peticularly beckon to Outkast in some cases, which makes the record even that more enjoyable as a fan of Outkast myself.

Overall, I give this album a 9/10 for being as unique as it is, as well as giving an enjoyable listen to its audience. This record is certainly for fans of The Flaming Lips, Bad Brains, Outkast, Kings of Leon and The Killers.
